Marla Hostetter Kropf, ANP joined the Tigard clinic September 2013. Marla is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience in primary care with an Internal Medicine focus.
She completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and practiced in Denver, CO and Bethlehem, PA since then.
Her work experiences include positions as an independent practitioner serving as patients’ PCP, providing geriatric care in a nursing home and participating in resident education and supervision. While in Denver she also provided care for victims referred from the Rocky Mountain Survivor Center that had experienced torture in their home country and were seeking asylum in the United States.
She feels that disease prevention is the key to successful health, focusing on each individual’s lifestyle, stress management and potential health risk factors. Her extensive experience treating patients with not only diverse backgrounds but varied pathology enables her to identify both acute and chronic illness and work with patients to reduce and manage symptoms successfully.
Marla likes gardening, cooking, spending time with her husband and children and outdoor activities.
