Maren Parkinson, FNP grew up in Utah and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Brigham Young University. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit with the University of Utah Health System, where she cared for patients during some of the most critical moments in their lives.
Through her experience in critical care, Maren developed a passion for preventative medicine, believing that better outcomes are possible when patients are proactive about their health. This passion inspired her to become a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, where she focuses on empowering patients to make informed decisions and maintain long-term well-being.
After relocating to North Carolina, Maren earned her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Duke University. She is deeply committed to building long-term, trusting relationships with her patients, partnering with them to achieve their unique health goals.
Now living in Oregon with her husband and baby girl, Maren is excited to be back in the West, closer to the mountains she loves. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports team.
