Chris likes to get to know his patients well and develop relationships that allow him to recognize changes in their medical conditions.

Chris believes in preventative medicine and prefers to rely on lifestyle changes whenever possible, using medications to enhance these changes. He is particularly interested in hypertension and diabetes. His goal is to become a partner in his patients’ health. He enjoys providing authentic healthcare with a teamwork approach and a touch of humor.

Outside of clinic life, Chris enjoys taking his two boys hiking, watching and playing soccer, reading, exploring Portland off the beaten path and traveling.
