Shelby Mulrennan, FNP grew up in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2015. Her nursing career began in the ICU and urgent care, and along the way she called Colorado and Wyoming home before settling in Portland, Oregon. Shelby went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Simmons University in 2020 and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in Oregon since 2021.
Shelby brings a broad range of experience, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a special passion for preventative health, chronic disease management, and geriatric medicine. She is known for her warm, attentive approach and believes the best care comes from truly listening and understanding each patient’s unique story, environment, and lifestyle. Her favorite part of being a clinician is building meaningful connections and partnering with patients to help them feel empowered in their health care decisions.
Outside of the clinic, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Gus. She finds joy in gardening, cooking, and getting outdoors—whether it’s hiking, trail running, or camping in the Pacific Northwest.
