Kim Heydon, MD joined our Tigard Clinic in early November 2020. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1993 and completed her Family Practice residency at the Methodist Hospital, University of Minnesota in 1996.
Dr. Heydon grew up in Montana and is an avid outdoors enthusiast. She became interested in medicine while working with a medical team caring for Australian Aborigines. Dr. Heydon came to Oregon to attend Lewis and Clark College. She has worked as an emergency medicine physician, hospitalist, urgent care physician and with Indian Health Services in Montana.
Dr. Heydon now does the full spectrum of family medicine and enjoys seeing entire families with a special interest in sports medicine. She strongly believes in preventative medicine and helping the patient establish a healthy lifestyle to maintain optimal physical and emotional health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and animals, and loves all sports and the outdoors.
