Alison received her Nurse Practitioner degree from The University of Colorado in December 2016, and she was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in January 2017 by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Alison chose Family Practice because she enjoys partnering with patients and families to help them to feel as well as possible at every stage of life. One of her most important roles is to help her patients sort through the health advice they read and hear every day so they can choose the habits that are most likely to reward them for their efforts. She also stays up-to-date on the latest evidence-based guidelines for nutrition and exercise and their roles in the prevention of illness.

She is an avid cyclist and enjoys commuting to the Tigard Clinic by bike as well as long rides on the weekend with her husband. Alison has two grown children.
